LETTER OF CONDOLENCES
On behalf of the Nigeria Model United Nations Society, I would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere condolences to the President UFUK Dialogue Foundation on the shocking loss of lives at the Ataturk International Airport, Istanbul, Turkey on 28 June, 2016. It is quite unfortunate that so many innocent lives were lost in such a cruel way.
As an organization, we share in your ideals of promoting global education, peaceful coexistence, tolerance, respect for diversity and compassion. We are indeed saddened by this tragic incident. We condemn and firmly oppose any form of terrorism and dark ideology that threaten global peace and security. We stand in sympathy and solidarity with all peace loving people of Turkey and other affected countries, for their loss.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the families of the victims at this difficult time and we sincerely hope the whole world will come together to defeat violent extremism. Indeed we can all change the world by reserving a seat for everyone in our hearts.
