Application for participation is only open to Senior Secondary School Students. The maximum number of students per school is 30 students (Please note that this is just the maximum, any number of applications less than 30 is acceptable). Schools that wish to send more than 30 students should notify the NigMUNS Office.
- Registration is from February 20, 2015 till May 28, 2015. Delegates who register after this date will be subjected to a 10% surcharge.
- NigMUNS will not make any refund of payment from two months before the conference.
- Any swapping or changing of delegate after registration will attract an administrative fee of N 2, 500.
Arrival / Departure:
- Arrival is from 2:00pm on the 17th October 2015 and departure is on or before 12noon on 22ndtOctober 2015. Please note the arrival time.
Conference Fee and Mode of Payment
The conference fee per student delegate and accompanying staff is categorized according to choice of accommodation:
STUDENTS
Category 1:
Delegate fee of N,000 per student
Type of Accommodation: 3 persons per room
Category 2:
Delegate fee of N, 000 per student
Type of Accommodation: 2 persons per room
ACCOMPANYING STAFF (TEACHERS)
Category 1:
- N, 000 per person
Type of Accommodation: single room occupancy
The subsidized conference fee covers:
- 5-day Hotel Accommodation
- Feeding throughout the conference
- Transportation within Abuja
- Attendance of the Official Gala/Awards Night
- Medical Care for the duration of the conference
SCHOOL DRIVERS AND OTHER NON-ACADEMIC SUPPORT STAFF
Schools’ drivers and other non-academic support staff are expected to pay a fee of
- N, 000 for feeding and conference identification tag only,

- N, 000 for all conference materials and accommodation.

Registration Deadline
Every registration form with One (1) passport photograph, evidence of payment of conference fee and the mandatory essay on The Role of Youth in the Fight against Prejudice and Hate Crimes must be received on or before the deadline of May 28, 2015. Students are encouraged to start preparation and research as soon as they receive registration confirmation and countries/committees allocated to them.
Acceptance of Application
Students who have been accepted to participate at NISSMUN 2015 will be notified on or before June 10, 2015.
